First Confession

 

Sacramental Preparation Expectations for First Reconciliation 
(Please note: specific dates/times/places will be published on a schedule in the fall).


1.  Child is in second grade and will attend Mass every Sunday
2.  Child will attend faith formation class through either Holy Name or Escanaba Catholic Faith Formation
3.  Attend all scheduled meetings and retreats  (to be scheduled)
4.  Complete workbook to the satisfaction of the Faith Formation Director by February 2015
5.  Turn in an Original picture, drawn by child of his/her Patron Saint, by February 2015
6.  Turn in an Original prayer, written by child to his/her Patron Saint, by February 2015
7.  Child will memorize the Act of Contrition and recite it to the Faith Formation Director by February 2015
8.  A copy of child's Baptism certificate will be on file by February 2015

November  - Meeting for parents of all children preparing for a sacrament
February  - Completed First Confession Workbook Due (Return it to the ECFF Office)
February - Parent/Child Meeting - Preparing for First Confession
